In 2016 Evolution Gaming released lots of unique live dealer games with Live Baccarat Control Squeeze being possibly the most impressive one. This game is almost identical to Live Baccarat Squeeze but comes with a thrilling twist. Players are given the option to control the Squeeze as they play the game on desktops, tablets, or smartphones. It’s true that’s it’s a bit of a gimmick, but the gimmick adds a bit of flavor to the whole thing. Moreover, some players are sure to appreciate the massive maximum limits to bets and payouts.

Live baccarat is all about two card piles – Player and Banker. Both receive a number of cards during a round, and your job is to predict which one ends up with a higher score. The dealer will then place two cards each on both piles. The one closest to a total of 9 wins. In this part, it’s important to understand how baccarat card values are calculated. All cards worth ten or more (Jack, Queen, King) count as 0. Ace counts as 1. All other cards are valued as usual. However, if the total score of a pile goes over 10, only the last digit counts towards winning the round. For instance, if the Player side has 12, it only counts as two.
Lastly, a third card is occasionally delt to either side. This happens only if the total score from the first two cards is 5 or less. The only exception is if the Player has 0-5 and the Banker has 8 or 9. In this case, the Banker side wins with no additional cards. That’s why Banker has a slightly higher chance to win, and a 5% commission is charged on all Banker bets.
Since this is a standard live baccarat online game, the payouts are standard as well. This pretty much just means that Player and Banker main bets pay even money. Tie bets pay 8:1, which could be higher. 9:1 odds on baccarat tie bets are the upper end of the industry standard, though.

So what is this baccarat squeeze all about? There’s not much to it, really. It’s just an old gambler’s ritual that involves turning and twisting the card between one’s fingers. The idea is to prolong reveling the card and add to the excitement. Squeezing first teases the results by showing glimpses of the card suit before the final reveal. It’s inconsequential if you’re just wondering how to win baccarat, but some players love it.
The original Evolution Squeeze Baccarat simply has the dealers squeeze while revealing the cards. Control Squeeze, however, puts players directly in control over how they want to turn the cards.
