Immersive Roulette by Evolution is a live dealer roulette game released in 2013. It boasts an RTP of 97.30% with a minimum bet of $0.50 and a $5,000 maximum wager. The game is available on both desktop and mobile and is one of the most famous and exciting live roulette games by Evolution.
Although live table roulette wheels focusing on cinematic excitement and spectacle seem common these days, it wasn’t always like that. Evolution was the one to pioneer this approach – and it started back in 2013. In this Immersive Roulette game review, we’ll take a look at how this title holds up to modern standards.

Back when it rolled out in 2013, this was arguably the most impressive variant of the casino classic available on the web. It was an instant success and continues to attract thousands of players. Immersive Roulette by Evolution is a cinematic gaming experience where the intuitive interface automatically switches between different camera views. The idea to increase immersion and overall atmosphere this way was quite revolutionary at the time.
Available on desktop, tablet, and smartphone, the Evolution pride and joy takes live dealer gaming to a whole new level. The competition caught up in the meantime, sure, but it’s easy to see why this game is still up and running. The live dealer Immersive Roulette game is what all top live roulette games have been trying to achieve for almost a decade.
Beyond that, the Evolution brand should tell you everything you need to know. The production value, the dealers, and the overall design are peerless. Immersive Roulette aged like a fine vine and is more than worth checking out.
Immersive Roulette picked up the annual award for the Game Of The Year at the 2014 EGR awards. The judges described it as a “uniquely innovative and different game that has a real ‘wow factor’”.
It’s interesting to note that Evoution’s first big breakout successes were not the game shows that the provider became famous for. Immersive Roulette was prized for it’s high-definition video, multiple cameras with high-FPS footage, and overall presentation. All of these things are considered common in the world of live roulette tables nowadays, which just goes to show how influential Evo is in the industry.
As a reminder, the EGT Operator Awards are some of the longest-standing and most respected industry awards in the gaming business. To make things even more impressive, these awards didn’t even have a special category for live dealer products. Immersive Roulette was pitted against slots, RNG games, poker tables, and every other form of gaming available in 2024 – and won! It stood the test of time, too, which is just another reason we rate it so highly.
When the ‘Place Your Bets’ sign is active, the table layout will be highlighted as open. This allows players to select between six chip sizes, ranging from $1 to $2,000. Use them to place wagers by simply clicking on the number or area they want to cover. Once the ‘Bets Closed’ sign appears and the table layout returns to its original positions, you will no longer be able to bet on that particular spin. Betting time lasts for around 15 seconds, giving you plenty of time to make a good decision.
The interface is a bit different from the usual Evolution fare, but it’s not hard to understand. While the usual roulette betting table is in the middle, the right side of the screen features several tabs. These can be selected to display stats, hot and cold numbers, and the Racetrack view.
The former two are useful for some playstyles and give insight into the past few rounds. However, the Racetrack view is needed to place Call and Neighbors bets. These special wagers allow players to cover a section of the roulette wheel itself instead of the betting table. There’s nothing unusual in how Immersive Roulette works here, either. Just put down your chips where you need them, and let the software and dealers do the rest.
Immersive Roulette is all about the spectacle. Talking about it is one thing, but if you really want to understand what is Immersive Roulette – you’ll need to see it. Unfortunately, you can’t play Immersive Roulette for free or without an account at a live casino. The short-but-sweet video presentation below is the next best thing.
You’ll notice that the video is heavily focused on the looks and presentation. Well, that’s what Evolution Immersive Roulette is all about! Roulette is an invariably simple game – it’s hard to innovate on the formula without ruining the whole thing. It’s all about the presentation – and Immersive Roulette is downright spectacular in that regard.
Again, this title is mechanically almost identical to European Roulette. That means that there’s a single zero pocket, which implies favorable RTP (compared to American variants.) The payout table, which you can see below, is completely industry standards. Winnings range from even money on Black/Red and similar bets to 35:1 for Straight-up wagers.
Bets | Covers | Pays | |
---|---|---|---|
Inside Bets | |||
Straight Up | 1 number | 35:1 | |
Split | 2 numbers | 17:1 | |
Street | 3 numbers | 11:1 | |
Corner | 4 numbers | 8:1 | |

The Immersive Roulette rules offer a 97.30% RTP, which means that the house edge is 2.70%. The RTP is consistent across the board with no side bets or other special features. Call and Neighbors bets are essentially combinations of some of the above bets, so their RTP remains the same.

While betting limits range from $1 to $5,000, they also depend on the casino you play at. In other words, don’t be surprised if you see different limits. The game can also accommodate Neighbour and Call bets via the Racetrack view. It also allows gamers to save their favorite bets and repeat them easily at any time.
The statistics window is not the most impressive we’ve seen from Evolution, but it gets the job done. You can also change the camera mode, essentially disabling the whole Immersive aspect of Immersive Roulette. This somewhat defeats the purpose of choosing to play Immersive Roulette instead of a different title, though.
The game options panel in the bottom right-hand corner allows you to activate the full screen, disable game sounds and slow motion, visit help or game history. Seeing as how the game is quite demanding, you can simply select lower video quality in case your connection speed or computer is not good enough to ensure uninterrupted gameplay. You can also check out the Evolution game lobby and see other games they offer. It’s a complete overview of all open live table casino games and their respective betting limits.
Love how immersive this game is with all the camera angles.
Nice slow-motion replay.
Wish I had better luck with hitting my numbers. :)
Another gem from Evolution. These guys are absolute masters when it comes to live dealer games.
No negatives so far.
I was very happy when they launched Immersive Roulette in Spanish. This is my favorite roulette game online because how authentic it feels. Low stakes bets are possible too.
Nothing so far.
