As a provider of live casino games, Ezugi is mostly known for classic, down-to-earth experiences. They mostly handle standard setups of big casino classics, often in multiple languages, while experimental and innovative new games are left to the company’s big brother, Evolution.
In that sense, we’ve seen a big shift in gears in 2022 and 2023. The provider came up with several rather interesting releases – namely Ultimate Andar Bahar and Royal Poker. These titles have a few things in common with the subject of this review, Ultimate Roulette. Namely, they put a relatively subtle twist on the core formula of the game while being careful not to affect the spirit of the original game.
Ultimate Roulette works exactly like this. It combines the game show-like presentation and multipliers of something like Lightning Roulette with the more relaxed atmosphere and high interaction we’ve come to love about Ezugi.
With that bit of history out of the way, let’s take a look at how it works.
The core gameplay is no different from any other live roulette game on the planet. You use the chips to set your stake and place them on the bet table to wager. The dealer spins the wheel, and you win if your bet covers the number the ball lands on.
Ultimate Roulette really gets going once you factor in the multipliers. We’ll get to those in a minute.
For now, we’ll just clarify that all standard roulette bets can be used while playing Ultimate Roulette. This includes column bets, sector bets, neighbours, Tiers, Orphans, Voisions, and so on. For the most part, bets all have standard payouts. You can check the full list below, but experienced players should be immediately familiar with odds in roulette.
Straight Up is the only exception- the bet covering only a single number. It pays a base of 28:1, compared to the standard 35:1.
Multipliers in Ultimate Roulette only affect single-number bets, as is often the case in games of this type. However, Ezugi didn’t just copy Lightning Roulette and call it a day. Let’s explain.
For starters, between 2 and 5 numbers are randomly selected and assigned a multiplier ranging from 50x to 1,000x. If you place and win a Straight Up bet on one of those numbers, you win your stake multiplied by the multiplier amount instead of the standard reward. We’ll refer to these as main multipliers.
However, it doesn’t end there. If you pay an extra 10% on top of your usual stake, up to 3 extra multipliers will appear on the table. These extra multipliers have a unique chance to be doubled, which is how you win the game’s maximum payout of 2,000x. Note that the 10% fee in your stake does not count towards calculating payouts.
But it doesn’t even end there. Main multipliers have an extra chance to spread to up to 3 neighbouring numbers. This brings the total maximum number of possible multipliers to 11, which is way more than we usually we see with these types of roulette games.

Ultimate Roulette RTP sits at 97.30%, which is one of the most impressive stats of the game. Usually, roulette games with multipliers sacrifice some of the average return for the sake of bigger maximum payouts. However, according to the information available, this isn’t the case with Ultimate Roulette. The RTP is the best that you can find with roulette wheels, so the extra volatility didn’t harm long-term profitability.

The UI here looks a bit different from the usual Ezugi approach, but don’t worry. The looks were updated to fit the game’s circus theme, but that’s pretty much it. You still have the same range of features and options as usual.
This mostly boils down to the menu in the upper right corner. It contains vital data such as game info and help, audio/video settings, language options, and so on.
The racetrack view of the betting table is available in the lower right corner. This is also where you’ll find statistics and results data for the previous 500 rounds or so, giving you plenty of stats to work with.
Ezugi has really pulled out all the stops with the highly-anticipated Ultimate Roulette. The extra attention can be seen in the superb presentation and custom UI, which immediately set the game apart from the rest of the provider’s portfolio.
More importantly, the game also stands out among other roulette wheels with multipliers. Most interestingly, every round can contain a huge number of multipliers – more than the game’s direct competitors, at least. The extra multipliers are also a small but exciting idea because they allow you somewhat customise the volatility of your experience.
The bottom line is that it’s a unique game that introduces certain innovations without changing the core nature of roulette. Better yet, Ezugi has achieved this without negatively affecting the RTP. That alone deserves praise, and we loved our time with Ultimate Roulette.
