Cash Collect Roulette Live: Our Review, How and Where to Play!DISCLOSURE

Playtech by Playtech

Cash Collect Roulette is a live casino roulette game released by Playtech in 2024. It’s a modified version of European roulette that introduces special bonus rounds that can be accessed by making Inside bets. On the flip side, inside bet payouts are lower than at standard roulette tables. The game boasts 97.30% RTP, just like standard European roulette, and accepts bets ranging between $0.20 and $2,000. It’s available on both desktop and mobile on any casino with Playtech software.

The concept of boosted roulette has seen a lot of success with the live casino community, and Playtech has always been at the forefront of this type of game. Cash Collect Roulette takes things a step further than most of its direct competitors, though. Instead of simple win multipliers, it spices things up through unique bonus rounds. This review covers everything you need to know about the game and how it works while also offering our opinion on whether it’s worth your time and money.

Modified roulette tables with multipliers and other special features are a big favourite among live casino players. While many players associate this niche with Evolution’s Lightning Roulette, many alternatives have been developed over the years. In fact, Playtech is behind some of the best roulette games with multipliers, such as Quantum Roulette, Jet Set Racing Roulette, and Mega Fire Blaze Roulette.

Compared to all of these games, Cash Collect Roulette veers further away from the basic game of roulette. Specifically, it puts a lot of focus on a set of three bonus rounds that can be tackled for potentially massive rewards. This makes the whole thing feel a bit like a casino game show – more so than most games of this type. The presentation is also a bit like a game show, with active, chatty presenters and a colorful, TV-like studio. Not everyone will enjoy such a design choice, but it’s certainly in line with many industry trends.

You can take part in these bonus rounds by simply placing inside bets. Of course, the tradeoff is that the base payouts for inside bets are also lower than the standard for European Roulette. This results in higher volatility, though the RTP suggests that the basic roulette odds are no different from classic European tables.

How to Play Cash Collect Roulette

The core gameplay loop is identical to pretty much every live casino roulette game you might have enjoyed in the past. You play by placing wagers on the betting table. Simply select the size of your stake, then click on the bet you wish to make.

All standard roulette bets are available in Cash Collect roulette, including Inside, Outside, and even Sector bets. However, only Inside bets can qualify for the bonus rounds. If you’re not familiar with common bets in roulette, we suggest reading this guide. It provides a comprehensive explanation of every available wager, how it works, and its odds and statistics.

Once the betting window ends, the game’s special features start to kick in.

Firstly, up to 5 numbers on the grid are randomly selected for bonuses.

  • Numbers with a bronze coin are marked for the Coin Power Up bonus round
  • Numbers with a Diamond symbol are marked for the Diamond Bonus
  • Numbers with a blue coin symbol are marked for the Cash Collect Bonus.

Note that any wheel number can be marked with any type of bonus. Moreover, the number of times any bonus appears is also randomized. For instance, you may end up seeing five numbers marked for Cash Collect while none are marked for the other two bonuses. However, any inside bet can qualify you for all three bonuses, so you get a shot to participate no matter which ones appear.

An additional random feature called the Cash Collect Blast also sometimes triggers before the dealer spins the wheel. This feature selects 12-18 numbers and marks them for bonus rounds, significantly increasing the odds that one of them will trigger in the current game round.

The dealer will then spin the wheel. If the ball lands on a regular number, players with bets covering that number win an instant prize as per the game’s paytable.

However, if it lands on a number marked for a bonus, the corresponding bonus round kicks off.

Cash Collect Roulette Bonus Rounds

All players with active Inside bets on a winning Bonus number participate in the said bonus round. Everyone else just gets to watch and enjoy.

However, the type of Inside bet you won with determines the payout of the bonus round you’re playing. For instance, if you qualify using a Straight Up bet, you can get the full 500x maximum payout from the Diamond Bonus. However, if you qualified using a Split, any winnings from the Diamond bonus are essentially cut in half, which means you can win 250x at most. Street bets award you 1/3 of the total prize, Corner bets win 1/4, and so on.

With that out the the way, let’s explain how Cash Collect Roulette bonus rounds work in the first place.

Coin Power Up Bonus

This bonus takes you to a small slot machine with a single reel. The reel spins and reveals an instant prize.

However, Power Up bonus numbers in the base game are also boosted by a multiplier. This multiplier can be 30x, 40x, 60x, and 75x. If the bonus is activated through a symbol with a multiplier, any resulting winnings are increased by the displayed amount.

Additionally, the mini slot also features four Jackpots. They’re called Mini, Minor, Major, and Grand, paying 20x, 100x, 500x, and 2,000x respectively.

Diamond Bonus

The Diamond bonus is very similar to the Coin Power Up but with fewer possible results.

It also simply spins a single reel. The arrows land on one of the possible rewards, which is the payout for this round.

Possible results include Minor, Major, and Grand prizes. These pay 50x, 200x, and 500x respectively. Minor prizes are considerably more common than Major ones, while the Grand prize appears only once on the reel.

Cash Collect Bonus

The Cash Collect bonus round works very similarly to the bonus round in Mega Fire Blaze Roulette.

Its main goal is to accumulate multipliers, which contribute to the final score while expanding the grid and earning additional spins to gather more multipliers. Once all spins are used up, the game concludes.

The bonus round features a grid with 36 cells, consisting of three 12-slot reels and a zero field at one end. The grid is divided into six segments, each containing two 3-cell columns. Initially, only the four central columns (4 x 3) are accessible, while the remaining segments are locked. The locked segments can be opened by landing Double key Symbols, which activate and expand the grid to accommodate more symbols during the drops.

The game commences with a set number of spins from the initial bonus symbol that kicked off the round. Symbols are then randomly dropped onto the grid.

Besides standard coins that simply add to the final prize, several types of special symbols can also appear. The Cash Collect symbol sticks around for 3 rounds, collecting any extra spins or multipliers. The Spin Coin symbol awards you additional spins for the bonus round, while the Key symbols unlock and activate additional parts of the bonus grid.

The round ends once you have no more spins. The total accumulated multiplier is paid out as a big instant prize, with rewards going up to 3,000x.

Cash Collect Roulette Strategy Tips
  • 1
all of your usual roulette strategies should work just as well with Cash Collect Roulette. Playtech did a great job of blending the bonus rounds with the base game of roulette, so it's all about balancing risk and reward.
  • 2
Bonus rounds in this game trigger a lot more often than in some similar titles. On average, you can expect to see a bonus kick off every 5-10 rounds or so.
  • 3
Covering as much of the board as possible is the easiest way to increase your chances of qualifying for bonuses. Don't go overboard, though. Betting too aggressively can easily result in you running out of money before you even get the chance to enjoy the bonus rounds.

Payouts & RTP

Outside bets in Cash Collect Roulette pay their standard rates for European roulette wheels. Although they’re a bit less exciting, we still recommend sprinkling in some outside bets while playing because they’re more consistent and reliable.

However, Inside bets can have vastly different results based on a few factors. A base Inside bet with no bonus rounds attached pays less than you would see with standard tables. However, they can potentially pay a lot more if used to qualify for a bonus round. Moreover, every Inside bet retains the risk and reward ratio of the base game. For example, Split bets will only win half of what Straight Up bets, while Corner bets can win 1/4th. This system makes a lot of sense when you think about it, and we like that the bonuses are not exclusive to single-number wagers.

You can find out all of the base and potential bonus payouts in Cash Collect Roulette on the table below.

Bet Numbers Covered Base Payout Diamond Bonus Coin Power Up Bonus Cash Collect Bonus
Straight-Up 1 29:1 Up to 499:1 Up to 224:1 Up to 2999:1
Split 2 14:1 Up to 249:1 Up to 111.5:1 Up to 1499:1
Street 3 9:1 Up to 165.66:1 Up to 74:1 Up to 999:1
Corner 4 6.5:1 Up to 124:1 Up to 55.25:1 Up to 749:1
Line 6 4:1 Up to 82.33:1 Up to 36.5:1 Up to 499:1
Column/Dozen 12 2:1
Red/Black/Odd/Even/1-18/19-36 18 1:1

The game’s RTP is 97.30% across the board, meaning all bets have the exact same average returns in the long run. This means picking which bets to play in Cash Collect Roulette is not a matter of finding the best ones. Instread, you need to find the ratio of risk and reward that best suits your strategy.

Our recommendation is to include some form of Inside bet in every round. Corners and Lines are the easiest way to qualify for bonus rounds, and this game is all about its bonus rounds. However, it’s also a good idea to throw in some red/black bets. Safe bets such as these can make your bankroll last a lot longer by providing a steady trickle of small winnings.

New to Live Roulette?

Our Verdict

Cash Collect Roulette is a direct improvement over Mega Fire Blaze Roulette, in our opinion. That says a lot considering we already thought that Mega Fire Blaze was a great game. Still, we’re glad to see that Playtech is not stuck in its ways despite the massive success of some of their games.

One of the game’s biggest advantages is the fact that you can qualify for bonuses using more than just single-number bets. This means you can employ different strategies to suit your goals and budget, which ultimately results in a better experience. We’re especially fond of the Cash Collect bonus round. It’s a direct upgrade of the Mega Fire Blaze bonus, boasting even more variance and fresh new features.

As far as the downsides go, we can’t really say we’re big fans of the other two bonuses. Coin Power Up and Diamond Bonus are fundamentally nearly identical. We can appreciate that they’re quick and simple, but we expected a bit more creativity from an industry giant like Playtech.

Either way, it’s a great game to play if you like online roulette games with multipliers. Playtech combined some of the strongest aspects of earlier releases and rolled them into one exciting package. We can safely call it the culmination of decades of work on boosted roulette tables, and a must-play if you enjoy such live dealer games.
