Playtech, one of the biggest names in the live casino software industry (and casino software development in general) recently announced the launch of a new live casino studio in the Czech Republic. The launch was a result of a new partnership with the SYNOT Group, aiming to deliver fresh products for the Czech market.
New Playtech Studio
According to a post published on Playtech's official website on January 14 2025, the provider and SYNOT entered a strategic partnership. As a direct result, brand new Czech live casino studios are slated to open in the near future.
The studios are located in Zlin and are the first operations of their kind in the Czech Republic. They are also the first collaboration between Playtech and SYNOT, who are hailed as one of the country's leaders in the gambling industry.
The studios will reportedly boast their own style and stand out from the rest of Playtech's portfolio. More importantly, though, they will feature native-speaking dealers who will present Playtech games in the Czech language.
Currently, it's not known which games from the sizable Playtech lineup will be represented in the new studio. The announcement mentions a “range of popular games”, but no specifics were provided.
What This Means for Players
The most immediate effect for us players will be quite straightforward – some Playtech games will now be available in Czech language variants. These variants will also have a unique look and backdrop, but will likely remain identical to other language variants.
This will give Playtech live tables a distinct advantage in the growing Czech market, seeing how few of their competitors offer live tables with Czech dealers.
Stefan Svec, Sales Director at Playtech, addressed this fact directly:
“We are thrilled to launch this Live Studio for the SYNOT Group, as we continue with our commitment to the Czech market. By combining our expertise and market knowledge, we will deliver a tailored Live offering that meets and exceeds the expectations of SYNOT Group’s customers.”
