Do you enjoy working with BetGames.tv?

Absolutely! I enjoy it because everyone shares the same vision and is dedicated to the mission. This truly creates a family environment where everybody is there for each other.

First, I was with the company for almost 3 years then decided to move to Bahrein to experience life in the Middle East and work in the aviation industry. After 18 months I am back home and at my beloved company as well.

What’s your favorite BetGames.tv table/game?

Poker is by far my favorite Betgames game because I personally like to play Texas hold’em with my girlfriends.

How did you decide to become a live casino dealer?

Well, my story with betgames.tv started more than five years ago when I came back to Lithuania from Canada (where I lived for a while). It was a period when I wanted to try something new in my life but to be honest at that time I barely knew anything about casino games (my only knowledge was from movies and few visits to casinos in Niagara Falls and Monte Carlo).

Trying new things can be undoubtedly daunting. The unfamiliar makes us nervous in a way that’s hard to describe. The act of leaving our comfort zone puts us in a vulnerable position, and leaves us with an onslaught of questions.

Giedrė is confident:

We ask ourselves: “Should I be doing this? Can I do this? What am I doing!?” While it may not feel like it, this is normal but pushing ourselves out of our comfort zones is actually good for us. This is how I decided to take this challenge and trust myself to fulfill a totally different role.

What is your favorite part of the job?

There are definitely some great things about being a dealer and most favorite part of my job is flexibility. I am someone that doesn’t like a standard routine and wants more flexible schedule. With 24-hour gaming, I can usually work flexible shifts to accommodate my own schedule and personal preferences. I personally choose morning shifts.

How do you think the live casino vertical is reshaping the entire casino industry?

No doubt about it. It is a very unique industry, Players get the real experience and vibes anytime, and with internet access now so freely available it shows huge potential growth.

What is your advice for people who are thinking about becoming live dealers?

If working as a dealer in an online casino is something that has crossed your mind – give it a try. For some, this really is a dream job, and for many others, becoming a live casino dealer can be a good opportunity – either as a good job to hold while working towards their actual dream or as a way to get into the gaming industry.
