With more than half a dozen different live dealer baccarat games, Ezugi are doubtless one of the market leaders when it comes to online baccarat. Their offers range from Knockout Baccarat to Super 6 Baccarat and Salsa Baccarat, which are all creative variations to this casino classic. This particular variation is one of the most popular with both players and providers.

No Commission Baccarat by Ezugi is essentially identical to basic live table baccarat, except no commissions are charged on banker bets. To the uninitiated – Banker bets in baccarat are innately better than player bets. That’s why casinos introduced a 5% commission on all winnings from banker bets – otherwise, no one would ever play anything else. Still, if there’s one word online gamblers don’t like hearing, it’s ‘commission’. And so, the no-commission baccarat variant was invented.

Of course, live casino sites can’t simply drop the 5% just like that. There has to be a downside, and it’s easy enough to understand. Instead of charging a commission, the casinos simply pay out less if your banker bet wins with a 6. The payout takes a substantial hit – instead of the usual 1:1 payout you get with any other banker/player bet, banker bets that win with a 6 get 0.5:1 instead. For reference, keep in mind that regular baccarat online offers 0.95:1 on all banker bets. Is the tradeoff worth it? We’ll leave you to decide.

The house edge is theoretically higher for No Commission Baccarat than regular live baccarat games – 98.76% compared to 98.94%. the difference is rather negligible, so it comes down to personal preference.

How to Play Ezugi No Commission Baccarat Online

  • Game play-wise, there are absolutely no differences here from any other online Baccarat game. As such, fans of live baccarat games should already know how to play No Commission Baccarat by Ezugi. Still, for the sake of beginners, we’ll quickly go through the basics.
  • The goal of the game is to predict which of two card piles will be closer to 9 in value. Importantly, all cards valued 10 and up count are worth zero. If your pile ends up with a double-digit score, only the last digit counts. For instance, if you have 15, the pile counts as a 5 for the purposes of determining the winner.
  • Both sides initially get two cards. If the player side ends up with a value of 5 or less, the pile receives a third card. The only exception is if the banker already has 8 or 9, in which case the banker side wins instantly. These rules are the reason the banker side has a slight advantage, which is why commissions are usually charged.
  • Ezugi’s No Commission Baccarat also has several side bets, though two are missing compared to the commission version. Big and Small side bets were left out, but players can try their hand with:
  • Player and Banker pair, which both pay out 11:1. Perfect Pair, which pays out 25:1 if there are two cards with the same suit and color. Either Pair, which pays out 5:1 for any pair on the table.
  • Additionally, players in live baccarat can predict a Tie result. It pays out 8:1, though baccarat tie bets offer notoriously bad RTP.

Our Verdict of Live No Commission Baccarat (Ezugi)

There is no shortage of top No Commission Baccarat games around. The biggest competitors are by Playtech and Opus Gaming. Now, if we’re being realistic, there are two reasons you’d pick Ezugi No Commission Baccarat over the others. One is presentation, the other are the side bets.

In terms of presentation, this game offers your standard Ezugi fare. It’s straightforward and down-to-earth, but ultimately well-made and with excellent dealers. As far as the side bets go, most of the competition offers more interesting options.

That said, we can’t call our Ezugi No Commission Baccarat review a negative one. Put simply, the final product delivers what it promises – and then some. We can thus safely recommend it to anyone looking for online baccarat games with no commission.
