1Bet is a live betting game made and operated by TVbet that combines live roulette with a bingo-like ball drum. TVbet combines a live casino broadcast with an interface that seems to take inspiration from online sports betting. The idea is to make wagers using a ‘bet slip’ interface, allowing for more control over combined bets. It’s a tried-and-true idea that works in many games, most famously those made by providers such as Betgames. That said, the interface works a bit differently than what you might be used to with more standard live casino games.
In the case of 1Bet, the broadcast itself is nothing overly spectacular or unique. It just shows a drum machine that draws a single ball every minute or so with a presenter who only shows up to make announcements. It’s a fairly straightforward approach, which some players may appreciate. That said, the stream itself isn’t the highest quality, and it almost seems like it was never meant to be viewed in full-screen mode.
As mentioned above, the rules of 1Bet are pretty much identical to live roulette. It borrows the same bets, payouts, and gameplay of roulette, except results are determined by drawing numbered balls instead of the classic ball-and-wheel setup. It’s not the most creative idea we’ve ever seen but hey, at least most players will immediately know what to do.
1Bet is essentially a unique approach to European roulette. In short, a single numbered ball is drawn from a big drum machine in every round. That number is the winner – if you place a bet that predicts the winner, you get a payout depending on which type of bet you made. The unique thing about TVBet games is that wagers are made using “betting slips” which work a bit like in sports betting.
You need to use the expansive interface below the main game window to place your bets. Select any number of bets on the main grid and they will be added to your betting slip. You can then change the size of your stake or add additional selections. Once you’re done, click on the ‘Confirm’ button, and your bets will be active in the first upcoming round. Alternatively, you can tick the ‘one-click bet’ option above the slip. This will make the interface automatically confirm any bets as soon as you select them.

Importantly, not all standard roulette bets are available in 1Bet.
Although the in-game wager menu lists them, some options such as Split and Corner bets cannot be placed.
Besides that, though, every wager works in a familiar pattern. The more numbers a bet covers, the more likely it is to win, so the less it pays. Your options include:
1Bet is very similar to TVBet’s other hybrid roulette game – Wheelbet. Wheelbet uses a Wheel of Fortune-style big wheel to determine results, but also relies on standard roulette rules.
Although these two games seem quite different, most of their differences are purely cosmetic. 1Bet uses bingo balls while Wheelbet uses a big wheel.
However, there is also one crucial difference that makes 1Bet objectively better to play – the lack of a second zero. 1Bet is based on a European roulette wheel while Wheelbet uses an American-style wheel with two zeroes. This translates into a big advantage in terms of RTP for 1Bet.
Much like all of the other rules and stats, the payouts in 1Bet are lifted directly from European roulette. Every bet pays a fixed rate based on how likely it is to win.
The riskiest option is the Straight-up wager, which covers a single number but pays 35:1 if you win. On the other side of the spectrum are Even Money bets such as Red and Black, which offer 1:1 payouts for a roughly 50/50 shot at winning.

Note that you can mix and match any number of bets per round, which can significantly increase your returns.
1Bet RTP clocks in at 97.3%, which is no surprise considering the payouts and bets are pretty much identical to European roulette. All in all, it’s a fairly strong rate even though it’s not the most exciting. At least they decided to use a European wheel as a basis instead of the American one like they did in Wheelbet, so the house edge is pretty manageable.

Our impressions of 1Bet are a bit of a mixed bag.
On one hand, it definitely accomplishes what it sets out to do. TVBet managed to deliver a game-show experience with a bingo-style machine that relies on the vaguely familiar rules of European roulette.
To be frank, though, the concept is not incredibly exciting to us. The actual gameplay is just a very slow-paced roulette wheel, and we don’t really find the numbered balls any more enjoyable or pleasing than the classic wheel. In fact, we’re fairly sure we prefer the wheel. There’s something oddly hypnotic about watching the ball roll around the wheel before finally settling into an empty pocket, isn’t there?
That magic is kind of lost in this format, and the fact that the video quality is not exactly top-notch isn’t helping things.
Still, most of our complaints are nitpicky. 1Bet from TVBet achieves its goals and delivers a solid, reliable casino gaming product. The appeal of that product is a bit less clear, though, and we doubt this game will be topping any charts in the foreseeable future.
