One-to-many blackjack tables, sometimes also called Common Draw blackjack, have been notably present in live casinos for years. This innovative format allows an unlimited number of players to enjoy the game at the same time, as opposed to the classic 7-seat setup. Blackjack fans from around the world value this style because it allows for lower betting limits and a faster pace of play.

In fact, Vivo Gaming is a bit behind the curve in this regard. Most major software providers in the live casino space already have their own one-to-many tables. Actually, many have been introduced years ago, so we’re surprised it took Vivo this long to get one going. Better late than never, we suppose.

Anyway, Limitless Blackjack is exactly what you would expect from a Vivo-made common draw blackjack table. They basically took standard Vivo Gaming live blackjack and changed it into a single-hand table. That’s pretty much it. The rules, features, and even the presentation of these two games are largely the same.

Speaking of the presentation, the game’s looks don’t really stand out one way or the other. The stream is available 24/7 in full HD, which is fairly standard for the industry. The UI kind of stands out from the competition, though, simply because there isn’t much of it. Most of the interface elements are quite small and discrete, and there’s a general lack of clutter on the screen. Some players will love this minimalist approach, but you may run into some issues if you have poor eyesight.

There’s not much to talk about beyond that, so lets dive right into the gameplay.

How to Play Limitless Blackjack

Limitless Blackjack is a fairly standard example of a one-to-many live blackjack table. This means that you don’t have to worry about seat availability or finding suitable tables. Just launch it from your favourite Vivo Gaming casino and you’re good to go. Select the size of your stake, click on the main game bet, and you’ll participate in the next round.

The main gameplay loop follows a standard blackjack ruleset. If you need a refresher on the basics of how blackjack works, make sure to read our guide.

As we mentioned briefly before, one-to-many blackjack tables work differently than classic ones. Every player with an active bet shares the same hand. This means everyone gets the same cards, but not necessarily the same results. Even though you have the same cards as everyone else, you still get to make independent decisions.

Every time the dealer places a card on the player’s hand, you get to make your move, which includes the standard blackjack options of Hit, Stand, Double, or Split. If you decide to stand, the round ends for you, and your current hand and point total will be compared to the dealer’s as usual. However, the dealer will continue drawing cards for the player’s hand. Players who opted to Hit or Double will use these new cards, but not those who decided to stand.

It might sound a bit confusing at first, but it’s easy to understand once you see a few rounds.

Rules

Here are some of the table-specific rules of Limitless Blackjack by Vivo Gaming:

  • The dealer must draw to 16 but stand on 17
  • Insurance is available and pays 2:1
  • Double is allowed on any total, and one card is drawn after doubling
  • Doubling after Splitting is allowed
  • Splitting Aces is allowed, but you only draw one card after. A score of 21 after a Split is not considered Blackjack
  • Cannot re-split
  • No option to surrender

It’s a solid set of rules, but it’s not ideal. For instance, you can’t surrender at any point in the round, which negatively impacts the game’s optimal RTP.

Side Bets

The Perfect Pairs side bet rewards players who are lucky enough to get a pair with their first two cards. If the two cards are both a pair and of the same color, the payout is substantially increased. Moreover, if both of them are of the same rank and suit, the payout is a whopping 25:1.

21+3, on the other hand, uses these two cards and the dealer’s up card to form three-card poker hands. It’s a favorite among live casino blackjack players because of the high profit potential. The payout depends on the strength of the poker card, going up to a massive 100:1.

    Strategy Tips
    • 1
The low minimum wager at Vivo Gaming blackjack tables makes it a great choice for beginners or players on a limited budget.
    • 2
Due to the low RTP on blackjack side bets, be very careful about when and how you use them.

    Payouts & RTP

As expected, Limitless Blackjack Live offers industry-standard payouts. Regular wins pay even money, while a natural blackjack will net you 3:2. Insurance offers the usual rate of 2:1.

The same largely applies to the game’s two side bets. All in all, no surprises on this front.

    Bet/ResultPayout
    Main Bet
    Win1:1
    Blackjack3:2
    Insurance2:1
    Perfect Pairs Side Bet
    Mixed Pair6:1

    21+3 Side Bet
    Suited Three of a Kind100:1
    Straight Flush40:1
    Three of a Kind30:1
    Straight10:1
    Flush5:1

Thanks to the table rules, the main game offers a theoretical return of 99.40%. This figure trails slightly behind some of its competition, where the best offers sometimes reach 99.50%. The main reasons for this difference are the lack of surrender options and the limitations on Splitting.

As is always the case, though, this only applies if you’re using a basic blackjack strategy, so make sure you have a chart ready.

The side bets are considerably weaker – Perfect Pairs offers 95.90%, while 21+3 offers 96.30% RTP. Both of these figures are also industry-standard, though, so you won’t find better offers anywhere else.

    Our Verdict

Limitless Blackjack is a solid implementation of one-to-many twenty-one. Although the rules are slightly worse than Vivo’s usual tables, the difference is barely noticeable as you’re playing. Besides, compromises have to be made to account for the lower betting limits and other benefits of the common draw system.

All in all, it’s a streamlined, lightweight variant that runs smoothly and has no major issues or flaws. It’s one of the better-looking games on the market, too, so we don’t have a lot to complain about.

Some players may want more side bets and additional features, but we don’t really feel the game lacks them. Of course, we’re not big fans of blackjack side bets in the first place, so take that with a grain of salt.

If you’re looking to play live blackjack online on a budget, Vivo Gaming Limitless Blackjack is certainly one of your best options.
