The rules of Azure Blackjack by Pragmatic Play are fairly standard for online blackjack. The shoe has 8 decks and the dealer must draw on 16 and stand on 17. The game also features two fairly common and popular side bets – Perfect Pairs and 3+1. Insurance pays at fairly standard 2:1 odds.
The betting time between every hand is around 10 seconds. However, Pragmatic Play has introduced a few handy features to make the pace faster. For starters, if all players are done placing bets, the game will continue uninterrupted. Furthermore, players can also set up scenarios to “auto-stand” or “auto-hit”. These can allow you to make decisions ahead of time and dramatically increase how fast the game is played.
There are 7 seats available at each table, which should be plenty of room. Interestingly, each player can choose to take up more than one seat. This pretty much boils down to playing multi-hand blackjack in a live setting, which can be a pleasant change of pace.
Another new option in Azure Blackjack live tables is Bet Behind. This allows you to place wagers on other players’ hands. The interesting part is that you don’t even have to have a seat at the table. If you see someone’s on a lucky streak, this is a great way of getting in on the action.
