Live blackjack by the up-and-coming software provider Betconstruct is certainly one of the particularly interesting blackjack games on the market. It’s a game that combines the postulates of the classic blackjack game with certain creative, modern, and unexpected elements that make it unique and more appealing to players. The traditional 8-deck blackjack format is the basis of Betconstruct’s Live Blackjack. However, players can experience multiple side bet possibilities at some casinos as well.
By default, live dealer blackjack is played upon a 7-seat table. Still, here we also have a multi-seat option that allows participants to take up to 3 seats. There are several types of Betconstruct blackjack tables – the huge main studio, special VIP streams, the Fashion TV tables, and specialized native-speaking tables. The rules are the same for all of them, though the language and table limits might be different.
There are multiple functionalities available to bettors, from the Pre-decision feature to the Smart Player feature. There is also a rather wide choice of native dealers, all of whom you can tip.
Regular live casino players who have played blackjack before will have no problems adapting to the Betconstruct live dealer blackjack game. The basic rules are the same – blackjack pays 3:2 and the dealer stands on all 17s. Those who are unfamiliar with the concept completely can open up the game info section and read the gameplay description in detail. In either case, a player is required to find a trusted live casino where Betconstruct offers live blackjack tables and find an available seat. At some tables, all seats may be taken and the player has no other choice but to wait or find a different table. That said, Betconstruct also added a Bet Behind feature, which allows you to wager on other players’ hands.
Once at the table, you are expected to know the game’s most important rules and to place the initial bet within 15 seconds. Here, players are allowed to double after a split. They can also double down, split, and surrender on the two initial cards at the cost of half of their wager. The decisions are made after the two initial cards are dealt, one face-up and the other face-down. Should the dealer receive an Ace, the players have an option to purchase insurance and possibly receive a 2:1 payout in the case of the dealer’s blackjack.
To vivify the classic blackjack gameplay, Betconstruct created three side bets: Perfect Pair, Honey Bonus, and Lucky 7. There aren’t exactly typical blackjack side bets, so we’ll get into them in the special features section of this Betconstruct Blackjack review.
Thankfully, there’s no real confusion about how payouts work in blackjack. It’s a fairly standard setup, all things considered. We’re glad to see that we’re dealing with the standard 3 to 2 blackjack payout, and insurance is at 2:1. Remembering the side bets and their relevant odds, however, is a different matter entirely. Honey Bonus and Lucky 7 are not exactly common live blackjack side bets, after all. You’ll find a reference table below to help you with that.

It’s worth noting that the 99.6% RTP rate only refers to the base game. The side bets are quite a bit weaker, with Honey Bonus at a dismal 85.99%. The Lucky 7 blackjack side bet is not doing much better at 87.4%. Perfect Pairs is not quite as bad with 93.89%, but we’d still be careful with the side bets.

If you want to play Betconstruct Live Blackjack for real money, you’ll need to know how some of its features work. Firstly, let’s get the side bets out of the way. There are three available:
Lastly, we’ll also briefly mention the Smart Player feature. This is essentially a built-in way of giving new players tips. As far as we can tell, these tips follow standard blackjack charts. The advice can be helpful, but don’t rely on the tips too much.
