As part of their busy 2021 release schedule, Evolution is presenting a new, innovative live baccarat game. Golden Wealth Baccarat is an exciting new idea made in the same spirit as Lightning Baccarat. However, theGolden Wealth variant is presented as the “luckier” version. In other words, the volatility is lower, resulting in more frequent multiplier wins.
We’re chiefly referring to Lightning Baccarat’s trademark system of multipliers. The idea behind Golden Wealth baccarat is to introduce even more stackable multipliers. Players are expected to draw at least one multiplied card per round, which adds even more excitement to this already exhilarating concept.
All of this is, of course, delivered with Evolution’s well-known sense of style. The studio is very much over-the-top, covered in crimson-golden decorations in a vaguely East Asian look. The UI is concise and intuitive, while the professional dealers bring the experience to a whole new level.
The Golden Waleth Baccarat game is still a typical live baccarat game at heart. That means that the goal is to predict which of two card piles ends up with a score closer to 9. As always, there are three main bets available – Player, Banker, and Tie. The former two win if they end up closer to 9 at the end of the round, while Tie wins if they both have the same score.
Initially, each side receives two cards. Cards 1-9 have their face value, while cards 10 and up count as 0. If the final score ends up being a two-digit number, only the last digit counts. For example, a score of 15 counts as 5. If either of the two piles gets an 8 or 9, it automatically wins – this is called a natural win. If a pile has a score total of 0-5, that side draws a third card. The only exception is if the Banker already has 8 or 9, in which case the Banker wins outright. Due to this small advantage, Banker is somewhat more likely to win. That’s why a 5% commission is usually deducted from every Banker bet.
A 20% ‘Golden fee’ is applied to all main bets. These fees are there to allow for the massive winning potential of the multipliers. They allow the Golden Wealth Baccarat game to function without decreased odds while still offering a strong RTP. We’ll discuss these multipliers further down in the Special Features section of this Evolution Golden Wealth Baccarat review.
The multipliers in this game are able to stack on top of each other, which can lead to massive wins. However, all wagers come with a 20% fee. Also, all Banker bets come with a standard 5% commission which is common to most live baccarat tables. Thankfully, this only applies to the base return and not the multiplied win. Also, Tie bets can be multiplied by up to all 6 cards, but have a reduced base payout. Furthermore, the Golden Wealth multipliers also apply to the Pair side bet.
Bet | Payout | RTP | |
---|---|---|---|
Evolution Golden Wealth Baccarat Payouts | |||
Player | 1-512:1 | 98.85% | |
Banker | 0.95-511:1 | 98.69% | |
Tie | 5-1310720:1 | 93.35% | |
Player Pair | 9-576:1 | 86% | |
Banker Pair | 9-576:1 | 86% |
As you can see, the Evolution Golden Wealth Baccarat RTP depends on the wager you’re making. As always, the Banker bet is the superior option despite the 5% commission. Interestingly, Tie wagers are better than typical baccarat tie bets, which usually come in at below 90%. The side bets are even worse than usual, though, and are best avoided in most situations.

Golden Wealth Baccarat Golden Cards are the distinguishing feature of this Evolution flagship project. Here’s all you need to know about how Golden Wealth baccarat works.
After each betting period is over, the Golden Round assigns random multipliers to 5 cards. If a card with the matching rank and suit of a Golden Card is drawn, the corresponding multipliers are applied to winning hands. However, the Golden Cards will need to be on the pile you’re betting on. For instance, if you make a Banker bet, you’ll receive an increased payout only if one of the three Banker cards is a Golden Card. The same is true for the Pair side bet. Obviously, you’ll also need to win the bet in the first place.
However, if you bet on a Tie and win, all 6 cards on the table can stack up in the multiplier. As we already mentioned, a 20% fee is added to all stakes to cover the increased payouts.
Beyond that, the Player and Banker side bets are fairly standard. They win if the relevant side draws a pair with the first 2 cards. Any multipliers assigned to those two cards increase the payout.
The baccarat statistics and roadmaps are also part of the UI. These allow players to keep track of trends, hot and cold cards, and overall shoe statistics.
