Speedy 7 is one of Betgames’ less-known games, and it’s likely one of the simplest. There is some potential for fun, though, considering this software provider’s high standards of quality.
In short, Speedy 7 is about predicting whether the next card the dealer draws will be red or black. You bet on one or the other, and win a bonus if you manage to string together multiple wins. It’s short and sweet, and it works much like a game of Hi-Lo.
Before we go any further – no, there’s no real similarity between Speedy 7 and the acclaimed Lucky 7. You’re betting on cards, not a lottery draw. That said, all Betgames titles share the same user interface. You can play Lucky 7 simultaneously with this game using the same browser window. You can also track Speedy 7 results the same way you track Lucky 7 results.
Additionally, Speedy 7 is streamed from a similar studio to other games from this company. The presentation is up to a very high standard with professional presenters and a 24/7 full HD stream.
The game will probably be most interesting to beginners and those who want simple betting action. Alternatively, it can be a good way to spend time between Betgames lottery draws. Speedy 7 rounds are cycled all the time with very little downtime. You can enjoy the game at any time for as long as you wish, from anywhere in the world.
All you really need to play this game is a casino that works with Betgames. Just open up the interface, and all betting options will be displayed in the center of your screen. Speedy 7 is played with one standard deck with 52 cards.
You can use the white buttons to adjust the stake size. Accepted bets start at $1, or the equivalent in whichever currency you’re using. Importantly, you can make a bet between any two cards. Anyway, simply click RED or BLACK, and you’re predicting that the next drawn card will be of the corresponding color. The first card drawn offers odds of 95:1 for a win. If you win, you can then try to guess the next card as well. If you win, you double your money. If not, you lose the whole stake. This continues for 7 cards, after which the round ends.
After the round ends, the dealer shuffles the single deck and the whole thing starts over.
Importantly, the payouts for the two bets are not fixed. Instead, it depends on the cards already on the table. For example, if more black cards have been played so far, the chances of winning RED are bigger. The payouts for the two main bets change to fit these probabilities.
Pay attention to the numbers under the bet you want to make. That’s the amount you stand to win if you guess right.
There are only two bets in this game, and their payouts change dynamically as more cards are drawn.
For example, if the dealer draws 3 black cards in a row, the likelihood of the next card being black is slightly lower. The odds for betting on BLACK will be bigger, with a larger potential payout. Conversely, payouts on the RED bet will be smaller because it’s more likely to win.
Both bets start at 0.95x your stake. However, this quickly changes as more cards are revealed. The odds are only 0.95x if there is an equal number of black and red cards left in the deck.
If you win 4 bets in a row, you get a bonus in the same amount as your initial stake. If you get 7 cards in a row right, you get 14x your initial stake (on top of whatever else you’ve won.)
We don’t have an exact formula for how payouts depend on the number of red/black cards in the deck. However, the RTP of Speedy 7 live is always roughly 95%. The bonuses and Jackpot work to increase this, the house edge is not much lower than 5%.
Make sure to choose the game that suits your taste and budget. Speedy 7 has no real competition, though, barring maybe Andar Bahar and Hi Lo.
In practice, the Speedy 7 game is most similar to the Indian Andar Bahar. However, unlike the popular Indian card game, there are no side bets. You only have two betting options in the entire game – and that simplicity is also the game’s beauty.

Speedy 7 by Betgames is unique in the live casino market, though we can call it particularly innovative. Guessing which color a card is going to be is hardly groundbreaking, is it?
The simplicity alone means that Speedy 7 will always be a niche game. Sure, speciality games will never reach the popularity of fan favorites like roulette. However, the limited scope of this game limits how attractive it will be to people.
As it stands, it is probably best played simply to keep yourself occupied in between rounds of other Betgames games. The relatively low RTP and limited betting options simply won’t hold your attention for long.
On the bright side, the execution of the ideas central to the game is pretty strong. It’s not a bad game by any means – just not a terribly interesting one either.
