How to Play Live XL Roulette

There are already several similar roulette live games out there, so there are no surprises with how XL Roulette works. For instance, Playtech just updated its offer with the spectacular Mega Fire Blaze Live Roulette. For the benefit of any live casino newbies, though, we’ll explain how it all comes together.

When you strip away the extra features and whatnot, this is a simple live table roulette game. It starts with a 20-second betting time, during which you need to select any number of available bets. Wagers range from simple even-money bets like Red/Black to Straight Up wagers and even Call and Neighbors bets. Needless to say, the racetrack view is available to those who prefer it.

Once betting time is over, the game will randomly determine between 5 and 11 so-called Lucky Numbers. We’ll explain this in detail further down. For now, all you should know is that these Lucky Numbers can only be won with straight-up bets.

Not long after, the wheel will spin and the outcome of the game is determined by the ball landing in one of the 37 pockets. The core of the XL Roulette multipliers features is pretty much a carbon copy of other games in the genre. In other words, the multipliers are randomly assigned to several numbers after betting time closes. If you happened to bet on one of the numbers multiplied, you have a chance to win up to 500x your stake.

Where XL Roulette by Authentic Gaming breaks from the formula, though, is that players can customize how many numbers are multiplied. There are four options to choose from:

Traditional Mode turns this game into a classic live casino roulette. It removes the multipliers completely but pays a standard 35:1 on all straight-up bets.

XL Mode is the default option, and the one truly identical to other roulette live tables with multipliers. Up to 5 numbers are marked as Lucky Numbers, and unmultiplied Straight Up bets pay 29:1.

XXL Mode pushes up the volatility if that’s what you’re looking for. Between 2 and 8 total numbers are multiplied, but the base straight-up payout falls to 23:1 to compensate.

XXXL Mode is the most volatile and arguably risky way to play. In this mode, there are between 3 and 11 Lucky Numbers, which can potentially cover almost a third of the table. However, the base Straight-up wager returns just 17:1. It’s quite crazy and intended for players who love chasing the ‘big score.

Currently, this title was released with only one table and one stream – an English-speaking one. Of course, you can still adjust the language of the interface to your liking.
