Se Die is an old gambling game originating in Vietnam. It’s played using four coin-like tokens, a bowl, and a plate. Each token is two-sided, and the goal of the game is to predict which side the tokens will show after the dealer shakes them in a bowl. There’s a bit more to it, of course, but it’s a delightfully simple game that keeps the action moving at all times. We’ll cover the rules of Se Die in detail throughout this review.
For now, we’ll note that the game is presented with the usual interface found in all SA Gaming games. This means that most of the screen is covered in UI elements such as buttons, roadmaps, stats, and menus. The actual stream window is relatively small. This kind of design won’t suit everyone, but it’s great if you like keeping track of roadmaps. Besides, this is currently the only way to play Se Die online live, so it’s not like you have any alternatives at the moment.
The Se Die game is intended to be simple, accessible, and lightning-fast. By that we mean that rounds go by quickly – the betting period lasts around 15 seconds, and the results are revealed almost immediately.
As noted above, the game uses a bowl, a plate, and four tokens. These tokens each have a red and a white side. A single round can be explained in just a few short steps.
As mentioned previously, the objective of Se Die is to predict which side the four coins will be showing after the dealer lifts the bowl. If one or more of the coins are not clearly visible, the presenter will move some of them around with a stick. If by some miracle one of the tokens is standing on its side, the round restarts and all bets are still in place.

According to the information offered by SA Gaming, Se Die Live RTP is 98.75%. However, it should be noted that the official info stats that this figure is the “maximum” RTP. We have no clear data on whether different bets offer different rates. Still, 98.75% is very strong, beating out most common casino games except blackjack and some baccarat tables.

As the first online Se Die game to hit the internet, this SA Gaming title is certainly innovative. The novelty alone is a good enough reason to try it – especially considering the solid RTP rate and fair rules. Novelty is far from this game’s only strength, of course. It’s incredibly simple but enjoyable, allowing for lightning-fast rounds and a decent range of bets.
In many ways, Se Die is like a simplified version of Sic Bo with better RTP. Whether you want to simplify Sic Bo is up to you, but we can definitely say that the high RTP of Se Die is a clear advantage.
That said, SA Gaming’s style of presenting its games has never been everyone’s cup of tea. To many, it looks cluttered and painfully dated. However, there are definitely plenty of players who enjoy this function-over-form approach. We can’t call it a great-looking game, but it certainly gives the average player everything they need, and it’s all clear and accessible.
