War of Elements is an online live casino game made and released by TvBet. It’s a simple card-based game in which players predict which of two cards will be higher, much like in War or Hi-Lo. TvBet is a casino software provider with a range of unique products that toe the line between casino gaming and TV game shows. In many ways, the TvBet line of products reminds us of the more well-known and widely available Betgames. For example, most TvBet games combine a live stream with a sort of betting slip that works similarly to live sports betting.
As such, the War of Elements casino game largely reminds us of Betgames War of Bets. From a gameplay perspective, the two games are nearly identical, save for a few betting options and markets. That said, there are also slight differences in how the dynamic odds are calculated, though that’s a bit difficult to quantify without behind-the-scenes knowledge from TvBet.
Either way, it’s a simple but engaging title that simply draws two cards and allows players to guess which one will be higher. However, unlike Dragon Tiger or similar games, it offers multiple chances to bet in different stages of every round. To achiever this, the game relies on a system of betting odds that change the payouts depending on the current situation on the board. We’ll explain all of this in detail in the gameplay guide below.
Visually, War of Elements presents itself as a clash between fire and ice. This theme is brought to life by visual effects, but the actual betting positions use the standard “Player” and “Dealer” positions. TVBet War of Elements was designed to be fast-paced and exciting. Rounds go by quickly, but the stream is only active for 16 hours a day, which is something to keep in mind.
At the beginning of each round of War of Elements, the betting is open and there are no cards on the table. The three main betting options are Player, Banker, and War.
If a bet is placed on the Player and the Player position draws the higher card, the bet wins. Conversely, if a bet is placed on the Banker and the Banker position draws the higher card, the bet wins.
A bet on the ‘War’ position wins if both cards are of the same rank. However, if the outcome of a round is a War (draw), both Player and Banker bets lose. The standard payouts for Player and Banker bets are 2.05, which translates to a 1.05:1 payout, while War pays 12:1 by default.
Once the host deals the first card to the Player position, the second round of betting opens. Players then once again get a chance to place bets on any available options, including the same position as in the primary round, the opposite result, or any other combination. However, the betting odds are different this time around due to the face-up card on the player position being known to everyone, which changes the odds and probabilities of all wagers in War of Elements. All payouts are re-calculated and offered to reflect those changes.
After the second betting period, a card is dealt to the Banker, and the values of the Banker and Player cards are compared to determine the winner. Payouts are determined by the type of bet and the timing of the bet. For example, if you place a Player bet in the initial round with odds of 2.05, and the odds increase to 4.00 in the second round, the payout will be based on the odds at the time of your bet. If the Player wins, the payout will be based on the odds you accepted when placing the bet.
As we explained in the gameplay guide above, this game does not offer fixed payouts. The odds change in every round based on the cards on the table and the cards left in the shoe.
However, War of Elements has one important difference compared to War of Bets from Betgames. It uses a single deck of cards that is only shuffled after it is used in its entirety. That means that the cards left in the deck also affect the odds.
For example, let’s say most Clubs have already been drawn from the deck. This significantly decreases the chances of Clubs being drawn, which increases the payouts for any bets relating to Clubs. In practice, this means that the odds will almost never be the same at the beginning of the round.
The one exception is the Player and Banker bets. These will always have the same odds 2.05 odds at the beginning of the round, which are updated as soon as the first Player card is drawn. The same applies to War and its 12:1 odds. Essentially, which cards are left in the deck is irrelevant for these bets, because the card suits don’t affect them. Similarly, card values are strictly relative, which means the odds are pretty much the same between two rounds.
As such, we’ve opted not to list the payouts in War of Elements on the paytable. We’ll simply list which bets are available.

Casino War does not have an established standard in this industry, so judging this game can be a bit hard. Thankfully, we can establish a sort of baseline by comparing the game to War of Bets. Although War of Elements is not a carbon copy of Betgames War of Bets, the two games are almost the same in most aspects.
On one hand, we would say War of Elements is less accessible because it’s not present on quite as many casinos. It also enjoys more betting options, a more consistent presentation, and a more transparent math model.
On the other hand, War of Elements stands out because it only shuffles the card deck once it goes through the whole thing. This significantly impacts the math model, even though it’s not really felt in the moment-to-moment gameplay.
All in all, TVBet’s title is a worthy alternative to its bigger counterpart, but we struggle to call it a better game. It’s a niche product, but it’s worth giving a shot if the dynamic odds piqued your interest.
