Whether we like it or not, experience is a big factor when looking for the best live dealer game providers. The iGaming industry has always been competitive, so if you manage to survive for a long time – you’re obviously doing something right. Despite the validity of this statement, the age of a company is but a number. Allbet Gaming was only established in 2014, which seems like yesterday when compared to some of the other studious out there. Immediately upon their arrival to the scene, the brand defined their target market and distinct design, and it has been nothing but uphill from there.
Allbet’s core customers are mainly Asian casinos, but their unique take on oriental culture has attracted a lot of interest from overseas, too. Still, they’ve remained adamant in accomplishing their ultimate goal – becoming one of the continent’s best developer studios. Whether or not they’re the best is up for debate. What is not up for debate, however, is the fact that the big dogs are taking notice. Industry experts have praised their booths at G2E Asia and ICE London. It’s notoriously hard to stand out at these premier events, so you already know Allbet Gaming has loads of potential. They’ve also participated in a number of smaller shows and expos over the years, giving us hints that they might go global real soon.
But for now, this provider is fully dedicated to its home region. In terms of legality, they have a license from the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR). It’s a state-owned entity that allows software providers and casinos to provide services in Southeast Asia. This is a relatively strong license, too, so you can be certain that you’re not dealing with scammers. If that’s not enough, then you’ll be delighted to see that Allbet Gaming is regularly audited by Gaming Labs International (GLI). A certificate of approval means that all the provider’s games are fair and completely random. All this considered, this is a pretty good first impression from a very underrated company.
Studios are often more important than we initially think. With a well-equipped studio, software providers are able to provide a complete visual experience. Even the smoothest UI in the world is worthless when combined with 360p camera footage. That’s why we like Allbet Gaming’s way of streaming. While the UI might seem a bit cluttered at first glance, it does excellent with the busy atmosphere of the studio. It’s not a perfect setup by any means, but it’s far better than what we’re used to seeing with most providers. So, from the get-go, it’s clear that Allbet Gaming know what they’re doing. Still, the UI could be a bit more refined.
As for the location itself, the Allbet Gaming Hall is located in the PBCom building in the Makati Central Business District in Manilla. It features more than one square kilometer of space and is manned by a team of 400 employees. We love the fact that Allbet Gaming owns these facilities, as renting results in lackluster tables more often than not. This gave them the ability to divide the studio into four parts – Dragon Hall, Multi-play Hall, BidMe Hall, and VIP Hall. While we’ve seen both lobbies and sites divided into several sections, this is still an interesting concept. It allows players to choose their path in the beginning and easily find what they’re looking for. Tidy and simple – just the way we like it.
The dealers aren’t too shabby either, but for some reason – they don’t talk and there’s no chat option included. We found this really strange, as half of the fun often comes from having fun with the dealer and your fellow players. Regardless, it seems that every lady we played with was well trained, and was able to run the game with exquisite smoothness. This is something we always liked, when a dealer knows how to keep the players engaged. Sadly, the lack of communication prevents you from having the best time possible. It would be great to see Allbet Gaming fix this in the future. They are too good to let small details like this slide by.
Just like most Asian developers who generally seem keen on filling their lobbies with as much information as possible, Allbet follows the same pattern. The interface often seems cluttered, but in return, you get to see a lot of details on display that you would have to look for otherwise. Both beginners and experienced players will find their way around the lobby quite easily. Players who appreciate the authenticity of the gaming experience will enjoy the multi-table environment. Overall, the controls are pretty intuitive and you won’t have to memorize a lot. Still, the overall layout seems a bit rough around the edges. It’s nothing unfixable, though.
In all four areas of the Gaming Hall, you’ll encounter tables with some pretty cool features. The BidMe mode is probably our favorite. Basically, it lets you squeeze cards through an auction system. Everyone at the table will place a bid, and the player with the highest one will get the privilege of completing the squeeze. Just like Evo’s Multipliers, quirks and innovations like this are what keeps the game going. While they’re not a one-trick pony, Allbet Gaming seems to base a lot of their appeal around the BetMe feature. It’s certainly intriguing, but a couple more games and variants would let it shine even more.
When talking about a provider of Allbet’s caliber, it’s no wonder that casino players can enjoy multi-device support. PC gameplay is always great, but Live Casinos would recommend trying the tables out on a tablet. Thanks to the company’s use of HTML5, the games can run on just about any modern device. Tablets, though, are our favorite. They are by far the best way to make use of all the camera angles, while still having enough time to house the full UI without any issues whatsoever. Even though Windows Mobile isn’t supported by Microsoft anymore, you can still run Allbet Gaming software on your device. Bugs aren’t frequent, which is surprising for an OS that hasn’t been updated since 2017.
