About Fazi Live Casino Software

Unbeknownst to many people, Fazi is not a new name in the iGaming industry. They were founded in 1991, in Nis, Serbia. Like most companies from that time, they initially specialized in land-based casino equipment. From the very beginning, Fazi emerged as one of the biggest innovators in the automatic roulette niche.

The first goal of theirs was to find a way to make everyone’s favorite game more accessible. In the 1990s, even the most spectacular betting shops and small-time casinos were reluctant about installing electronic roulette wheels. Inefficient energy consumption and slow production processes were the main obstacles. In a swift manner, Fazi eradicated these obstacles.

Interestingly, Fazi is also an innovator in the field of LED-powered scoreboards and info boards. In fact, many scoreboards in Serbia’s stadiums and arenas have been made by Fazi. It’s impressive to see a company so old, yet so versatile.

In the early 2000s, the Golden Age of this provider arrived with the launch of their series of electronic roulette terminals. Both energy-efficient and compact, their machines now grace the floors of hundreds of betting shops and casinos throughout Southeastern Europe, and, from recently, beyond. Despite their seemingly small stature, they are at the center of attention at every international gaming expo.

However, it was only recently that Fazi decided to go online and start making live dealer games. Aided by their new slot games department, the company spread its tentacles into the international market. As a direct result, they have licenses in a whopping fifteen countries. These include Spain, Portugal, Mexico, United Kingdom, Romania, Colombia, and several others. Admittedly, they don’t have too many live casino releases to their name. Nevertheless, Livecasinos.com believes that this impressive collection of licenses and clients will aid them in making a bit more noise in the upcoming years. They are, after all, still new to the iGaming part of gaming, so there’s no telling how they’ll develop further.

Fazi Studio Locations Worldwide

Here’s perhaps the most significant flaw of this software provider. You see, Fazi’s live casino games can be called that only because the action is live stream directly. Other than that, you won’t find many of the features that players consider to be commonplace. Believe it or not, only two of their games feature an actual person as a dealer — Live VIP Roulette and Live Lux Roulette. You can’t even chat with the lovely ladies, which is baffling to us. Even indie companies have added a chat box to their interface. There’s nothing better than chatting to the dealer or with your fellow players, so we hope Fazi will amend this.

Most of Fazi’s games are streamed from their in-house studio in Nis, Serbia. Some gameplay might be shown from Belgrade, too. To be completely frank, they could have done a much better job with the facilities. Even though 2 of their 4 live roulette games are basically live streams of an electronic wheel doing its work, the studio is very unimpressive. One would think that they would at least take care of the interior or install HD cameras, but this isn’t the case. So, this is probably one of the only situations where we don’t have to talk about native tables, the politeness of the dealers, or anything of the sort. There aren’t any dealers, that’s the bottom line.

Our conclusion is that Fazi’s live casino games are more of a showcase of their products targeted at land-based casinos and betting shops. Sure, they might sneak in a cool camera angle or two, but the whole vibe makes us feel like we’ve traveled back to 2006. However, Fazi has partnerships with iSoftBet, Betconstruct, and several other big companies, so we hope this will be a much-needed springboard for them. Until then, there’s no reason why we would actually praise their studios or recording prowess. If you like RNG roulette but aren’t a fan of the interaction, then you should give them a chance. Otherwise, there are better options.

Live Game Portfolio of Fazi

Let’s just get this out of the way. Fazi doesn’t offer any live dealer games, aside from roulette. So, if you’re an avid blackjack player or a poker aficionado, you definitely won’t find anything here. And honestly, this approach isn’t baffling, as baffling as it sounds when you first see it. Fazi has been making roulette wheels for the better part of the last three decades. It’s what they excel at, so it makes sense that they would try to port their best products to a digital platform. Given their pedigree in the land-based area of the industry, we still believe they will improve.

Instead of lumping all of their games into a single category, we’ll cover each of them individually. That’s the benefit of Fazi’s tiny catalog. While they don’t have a lot to offer in terms of quantity, there are some bits and pieces of quality to be found throughout their offer. You just have to look a bit closer to see it, that’s all. And if there’s anything we at Livecasinos.com are good at, that’s putting software providers under a microscope. We’ve put Fazi to the ultimate test, and here’s how each of their roulette iterations fared. They aren’t stellar by any means, but this company does have a good foundation to build upon.

The basis of all other Fazi products, Live European Roulette features your standard single-zero wheel. Because you won’t be dealing with two zeros, which wheels in Vegas usually have, the house edge is a reasonable 2.7%. When you enter the game, there’s no dealer or chatbox, or anything. It’s just you and a live camera feed of one of Fazi’s electronic roulette cabinets. And if you’re a sucker for full HD footage, the quality of the video will greatly disappoint you. While the camera lens is good with static objects, it has a terrible light sensor and makes any spinning motion blurry. Still, the number of side bets is decent. There’s a stat overview, as well as the success rates of the most popular bets. One feature we enjoyed was the automatic play mode. It lets you select a number of rounds from 1 to 1000 and pre-determine your balance and the bets you wish to place. A couple of ather notable roulette variant include Fazi's Live Lux table, Live Triple Crown Roulette, or Live VIP Roulette.

Live Lux Roulette is a definite improvement over Live European Roulette. Even though it’s not your classic live dealer game, it has a human element in the form of a presenter. We can call these ladies dealers, but the motion of spinning the wheel is actually a mirage. The whole contraption is just mechanical and the girls spinning the wheel is a detail added to make every round more dramatic. And we have to say, it works! The game itself features all of the same bets as Live European Roulette, as well as having an identical one-zero wheel. Consider it more of an upscale version. If you don’t mind the stiffness of the atmosphere, you’ll be pleased to see that this game isn’t actually streamed from a studio. Instead, it seems like it’s a betting shop, as we could see people playing at slot machines behind the wheel. The rounds are fast-paced, so you can have some fun if you’re not the waiting type.

The calling card for this Fazi game is its supposed exclusivity. While it’s pretty much the same as Live Lux Roulette, it has higher bet limits. Aside from that, you find any particular differences. There’s still the presenter which you can’t talk to and a very usable, modern-looking UI. Even though it’s quite large, it doesn’t feel invasive and the developers made an effort to maximize the use of available space. Details like these give us hope that Fazi will turn things around and start gaining some ground against its competitors. While the battle will certainly be an uphill one, they have a chance. If you like unusual bets, then you’ll love the Red Snake. We almost never see it at other providers, so it was a pleasant surprise. Basically, it covers a plethora of red numbers across the regular view format of the wheel. You’re effectively betting that the ball will land in 1, 5, 9, 12, 14, 16, 19, 23, 27, 30, 32, or 34. The payout is 2:1 and you have a ~32% chance of getting it right.

Fazi’s own invention, the Triple Crown Roulette Wheel, is something straight out of a sci-fi movie. It’s like a regular wheel, with 37 slots for the ball to fall into, but it has three rings of numbers. They all spin separately and automatically align so that the ball can yield three results. This, by itself, is already amazing, but the best feature of this game are the poker-themed side bets. A Flush lets you win money if all three numbers are of the same color, while the Pair bet lets you put a wager on the chance of getting two identical numbers. And the fun doesn’t stop there. There’s also the Straight bet, allowing you to profit from three winning numbers in a row. However, the really juicy part involves Three of a Kind, netting you a hefty return if, by some miracle, all three wheels align on the same number. For the craziest players, there’s the Triple Zero bet which pays 1,000:1. Talk about high stakes, huh?

Aside from the ones that we’ve mentioned, Fazi doesn’t offer any other live games. If they do come out with a new product, it’s highly likely that it’s going to be another version of live roulette. Let’s just hope that it will feature a better studio, along with an added dealer and a chat option.

When it comes to Live VIP Roulette and Live Lux Roulette, the dealer will only tell you the result of the round, in addition to any potential wins. The girls do so in English, and this is the only contact with language that you’ll actually have. For the other two titles, it’s just live cam footage of a wheel, and a UI that lets you bet on what happens. Thus, Fazi doesn’t have any native tables. Their live dealer department is still small in comparison to other brands, so we can only hope to see other languages, or any languages for that matter, when they expand a bit. Still, the concept of Fazi games still feels a bit surreal. You can’t really call them RNG games, because there’s live footage, but you also can’t call them live dealer games, as they are missing many of the elements usually found in such software. What a strange, but still interesting software provider.

Devices and Platforms Supported by Fazi

Fazi’s shoddy camera work and low video quality are somewhat of a blessing in disguise. Because there aren’t any gimmicky animations or HD streams, you can easily run their tables on older devices. Windows Mobile, iOS, and Android phones can be used without barely any exceptions. The low RAM consumption and the relatively simple UI combine to form a nice option for players without access to the latest Apple or Samsung phones. This is probably the only occasion when we’ll praise a flaw, but you can consider it as a blessing in disguise. In fact, Fazi is even better on phones than on PCs, as you won’t notice the lack of HD video.

Our Summary – Fazi Game Provider

Looking at their portfolio as a whole, Fazi doesn’t have anything special to offer. In fact, they aren’t even the best roulette-only provider in the game. Authentic Gaming not only has more games, but they actually employ real dealers on all of them (except Auto Roulette) and have a much more developed platform. Frankly, we don’t like what Fazi has shown us. Why don’t they advertise their tables as Live Auto Roulette or something similar? Slapping a camera onto an electronic roulette wheel is stretching the definitions of ‘live casino’ as much as possible. However, that doesn’t mean Fazi is an untrustworthy or conniving company.

On the contrary, they are very well regarded amongst the international gaming community. While their live dealer tables leave a lot to be desired, Fazi understands innovation. We haven’t seen anything like their Triple Crown Roulette, which dazzled everyone upon its debut in 2017. It is this amazing invention that gives us hope for their future. When you also take the lightweight nature of their UI, it’s safe to say that they definitely have the potential to accomplish some great things. But, as we’re all aware, potential is a word without meaning when there aren’t any results to back it up.
